This year definitely has been a blessing for me. God has faithfully been by my side with every step I take. This is not to say I never fail. I failed so many times, but God has not failed me for a single moment. In spite of the many times I failed, he always captured my thinking and brought my focus back to his goodness in the past and future.
Today, I was thinking of writing about Jeremiah 29:11 because it has been a verse that spoke to me a lot as a Jew by faith, but because of other things that I have to do today the time does not permit me. If you have been reading my blog and the other articles about me, you can see I always quote Jeremiah 29:11. It has spoke to me and impacted my life tremendously about how faithful God is in keeping His promises. He knows his thoughts towards me; I know I don’t have to be worry due to my limitation or the future. Wow, what a God I serve! So many of you are probably searching for someone to trust with your future like this, but I am telling you that unless you take the move and ask him to carry your future you will wrestle with this life and at the end, you will end up nowhere pleasant. My God does nothing by halves. What he starts, he finishes. All he asks is that we search for him, and he will make himself available to find. “Then you will callon me and come and pray to me, and I will listento you. You will seekme and find me when you seek me with all your heart.I will be found by you,” declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 29:12-14a).
When I started this semester, I prayed and asked the Lord not let me be stress out near the end of the semester. He really answered my prayer. This semester was less stressful than the previous ones not only that He enabled me to turn all my assignments in on time this semester. I asked the Lord for this because I wanted to take two summer course, and I did not want to do that if I were burnt-out.
I want to thank all of you who have been praying for me. Please continue to pray for me for my summer courses. Pray for my nephew who had a seizure last week. He is only 9 months old. Also, please pray for a brother in Christ, Mr. Tony, who is very sick as well. Your prayers mean so much to me. God takes pleasure in our prayers for one another. I am at MBI for another five weeks. Today, I went grocery shopping with my friends, and I taught one friend how to make Haitian food. I miss the rice back home, so it was good to make it today. Classes start tomorrow. God bless you all, and let us live by Christ’s words, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34).
“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
