The beginning of the year 2013 gave me a rough start. I had lost touch with many of you, but I am still enjoying life and remaining in the palm of the savior’s hands. Every year he consistently is blessing me with some wonderful classes and awesome teachers. This past Moody founder’s week, I was spiritually move by the speakers.  Homework is getting hard and challenging, but I am extremely grateful to see what God has been teaching me, and how he has helped me to meet the requirements and the teachers’ expectations. This also opens my eyes to the future consideration of further study of His word as I continually apply what I have learned. However, I have been a little stressed lately about many things in life, but this week specifically God has tremendously encouraged me through His word through my quit time with him in the book of Hebrews. I thank God so much for providing me with a great high priest who is both God and man. He is able to touch the innermost part of God’s heart emotionally, because he is God himself.  He is also man; therefore, he is able sympathizes with me, and he knows my human desires and needs. There is no greater blessing than this: our great high priest, Jesus Christ.

Therefore, since we have a great high priestwho has ascended into heaven,Jesus the Son of God,let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.  For we do not have a high priestwho is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areyet he did not sin.   Let us then approachGod’s throne of grace with confidence,so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God is good! I thank him again for another opportunity to go back to Haiti and minister to my brothers and sisters.  A group of students, about 13 of them, are accompanying me to shares Christ’s love and his salvation accomplishment for them. We will do this by Bible study, street evangelism, and loving and interacting with the people of Haiti. We will work with my home church in Montrouis, the church in my village Lagrange, and with a few local schools. Please pray for us. God bless you all!
