I am so glad to be in school again. It is like being back home. I had a good time in Michigan over the summer. I am glad I was able to see family and friends. I am very grateful for the opportunity that the Lord allowed me to see many of my good friends and family this summer. I missed Haiti so much this summer. Thanks to God that he always opens the door for new opportunities wherever He leads me. I especially appreciated the Oscoda Baptist Church’s day camp which gave me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful children and share my testimony of what God is doing in my life with them.
Thank you to all my other friends who made my summertime productive. Thank you to Heather, Natalie, Laura, and Cody for taking me to cedar point. Thank you to Larry for taking me to see some cool sites in Michigan that I never saw before. Thank you to pastor David for meeting with me every Tuesday. This was really a successful experience for me, and I learned so much. Thanks to the Hume family (my American family here in the states) and the Jack family. Thank you to many others like the Oscoda high school soccer team for letting me practiced with them.
I am so excited to start school I cannot even explain it. I am just ready to see what new things the Lord will teach me. I have 15 credits this semester. Please pray for me that the Lord gives me a successful semester and a successful school year. I honestly know without the Lord I could never do it, and I probably would have given up already. I am so grateful for your prayers, and I want you know God hears your prayers and He answers them. I bless the Lord and give Him thanks for allowing the Perries to continue supporting me while I am here at Moody.
God has been and continues to be gracious to me even when I when do not deserve it. The first week of classes have been intense but interesting. Papers and quizzes already, but it is good to be back. Thank you Lord, I want to commit my life to Him and become a young Timothy while at Moody and grow more and more until I see Him face to face. As D.L Moody once says, “I want the world to see what God can do with a man who truly committed his life to Him.” Pray always!
“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Hi Kesmy – so good to read your post and hear about your summer! You are such a light for Jesus – I am always humbled and encouraged by your posts. I also learn from you! I continue to lift you up in prayer. Your verse (Jere. 29:11) is also my verse!! Blessings my friend!! Robin Kriens
